Closing Your Account
We believe in total transparency. If you need to take a break or move on, here is how you can securely manage your data.
Important: Premium Subscriptions
To protect you from unintended charges, our system requires you to cancel any active subscription before the account can be fully closed. This ensures that Stripe or your payment provider successfully terminates the billing cycle.
Locate the "Danger Zone"
Scroll to the very bottom of the Settings page. You will find a section dedicated to account security and permanent actions.
Confirm Deletion
Click Delete Account. A confirmation prompt will appear to ensure this wasn't an accidental click.
What happens to my data?
When you delete your account, we trigger a permanent wipe of your data:
- Your Chat History is instantly purged from our databases.
- Your Personal Identity (Email and Name) is scrubbed.
Note: This action is irreversible. Once the data is wiped, our AI cannot "remember" your previous progress if you choose to return.
