• • Account Data: When creating an account, we collect your email address for authentication and transactional notifications. If provided in settings, we store your optional first and last name strictly to personalize interface elements and communication.
• • System Logs: Like standard web platforms, our servers automatically process your IP address, web request timestamps, browser type, and user agent to ensure security, prevent API abuse, and enforce rate limits. Log data is automatically rotated and purged.

03 AI Inputs & Data Retention

When you use our tool to analyze content or generate Gap Reports, your inputs are processed strictly to deliver your requested output.

• • Authenticated Accounts: Generated reports and input datasets are stored securely in our database under your account profile until manually deleted or until account termination. These reports are kept private and accessible only to you.
• • Guest / Temporary Share Links: Reports generated by unauthenticated users are assigned a unique, public shareable URL and stored in our database for a temporary duration of 7 days to enable link-sharing functionality. To prevent API abuse and enforce fair usage limits, we record basic system metadata (such as visitor ID, IP address and user-agent) alongside the report. After 7 days, the report, submitted inputs, generated outputs, and associated metadata are automatically and permanently deleted from our active systems.

04 Cookies & Local Storage

We maintain a strict minimal-storage philosophy. We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party cross-site trackers.

• • Strictly Necessary Cookies: We utilize first-party HTTP cookies exclusively for core security and operational functionality: maintaining active user login sessions and preventing Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. These cookies do not track your behavior across other websites.
• • Local Storage: We store a single randomly generated UUID (`visitor_id`) in your browser's `localStorage`. This unique identifier is pseudonymous and cannot be used by us to determine your real-world identity or physical location. It serves solely to distinguish unique aggregate usage trends without linking activity to your personal identity.

05 Privacy-Focused Product Analytics

To optimize user experience and evaluate feature engagement (such as determining whether users utilize our "share" tools), we capture minimal first-party usage interactions. These metric events include:

• • Event Details: Timestamp, destination URL/page view, and specific UI interaction (e.g., clicking a share or export button).
• • Device Mapping: Events are linked solely to your pseudonymous local storage `visitor_id`.

This analytics system is purely first-party and designed to avoid profiling, advertising monetization, or cross-site tracking.

06 Third-Party Data Processors

We rely on trusted cloud infrastructure partners to operate our Service (e.g., hosting providers, LLM API endpoint providers, and transactional email deliverability tools). These providers act strictly as data processors under confidentiality agreements and are prohibited from utilizing data for their own independent purposes.

07 Account Deletion & Data Retention

You retain full control over your data. Upon initiating an account deletion request within settings or via legal contact, our system executes an automated total purge.

PERMANENT DELETION: When an account is deleted, all associated profile details, email mappings, names, saved Gap Reports, and usage history logs are completely and permanently wiped from our active databases.
